Israeli media outlets and security sources have acknowledged that the latest exchange with Iran has altered the strategic balance, with Tehran successfully establishing a new deterrence equation that links any aggression on Lebanon to direct retaliation against the Zionist regime.
Israeli Army Radio challenged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claims, reporting that Iran fired missiles at 7:00 am following the Israeli attack on Beirut’s Southern Suburbs, while Israel did not respond further.

Multiple Israeli outlets, including Channel 13 and Israel Hayom, admitted that Iran has succeeded in creating a new reality in which any future strike on Beirut will be met with Iranian missiles targeting Israel. Security sources conceded that they did not expect Iran to carry out its threat.
Iranian officials have warned that the armed forces remain on high alert and will deliver a far stronger response if Zionist aggression continues in Lebanon or elsewhere.
