The Voice of Ummah is an independently operated digital news publication covering the Muslim world and international affairs. Our editorial work is overseen by The Voice of Ummah Editorial Team.
Accuracy and verification
We aim to verify material facts before publication, attribute claims to identifiable sources and distinguish confirmed information from allegations, estimates and opinion. In fast-moving stories, details may be updated as reliable information becomes available.
Sourcing
We prefer primary documents, official statements, direct reporting and clearly identified reputable sources. When reporting is based on another publisher, we identify and link to the source where reasonably possible. Anonymous or social-media claims are not treated as established fact without additional verification.
News, analysis and opinion
News reports, analysis and opinion serve different purposes. Opinion and analysis are labelled and reflect the author’s interpretation. They must not knowingly misstate facts.
Independence and fairness
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers, donors and commercial partners. Coverage may focus strongly on issues affecting Muslim communities, while accuracy, context, dignity and the right of reply remain core standards.
Corrections and contact
Material errors are corrected promptly and transparently under our Corrections Policy. For a correction, news tip or concern, please use our contact page.
