Aid for Yemen, Gaza and India

Namaa Charity, an affiliate of the Social Reform Society, provided specialised treatment and therapeutic nutrition to more than 350 malnourished children in Yemen. In the Gaza Strip, Namaa distributed school bags and supplies to 150 students; its media director Walid Al-Kandari said the aim was to protect children’s right to education. In India, the charity funded 100 cataract surgeries and drilled four wells. Separately, Kuwaiti diplomat Mohammad Al-Mulla told the UN General Assembly’s Fourth Committee on Friday that the Palestinian cause remains a priority and that the international community must shoulder its responsibility to end the Israeli occupation.
