The Saudi Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned a recent drone attack targeting the critical East-West pipeline across the Riyadh and Medina regions. According to an official statement, the strikes were allegedly launched from Iraqi territory, resulting in some injuries and property damage, which authorities are currently addressing.
Despite the aggression, Saudi Arabia announced it will withhold an immediate military response following a direct request from the Iraqi Prime Minister. This deliberate pause aims to provide the Iraqi government with an opportunity to implement effective measures to prevent its territory from being used as a launchpad for attacks against the Kingdom and other neighboring nations.

Reports suggest that Riyadh’s decision to suspend retaliatory action is closely tied to the Iraqi government’s anticipated efforts to disarm local resistance movements in the coming weeks.
