Security forces of Pakistan killed four terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the four terrorists belonged to Fitna Al Khawarij (Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan).
In the first operation conducted in Dera Ismail Khan district, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. After an intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were neutralized.
In the second intelligence-based operation in Mohmand district, two more terrorists were killed in a skillful engagement. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists.

Sanitisation operations are underway to clear the area of any other terrorists. The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces will continue their relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ to eliminate the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
This successful operation reflects the strong commitment of Pakistan’s security forces in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
