The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a statement claiming that the US military conducted desperate airstrikes on multiple locations along Iran’s southern coast, including several civilian areas. According to the IRGC, the continuous resilience of the Iranian people and the strong resistance of their armed forces in the Strait of Hormuz have deeply frustrated the White House, prompting these blind attacks.

In immediate retaliation, the IRGC announced that its brave forces have begun delivering a “regret-inducing” response to the aggressors. As a first step, utilizing a modern aerospace defense system, they claim to have successfully shot down the 50th advanced US MQ-9 drone. The statement emphasized that the US strikes have only strengthened their resolve to secure the Strait of Hormuz, promising the Iranian public that further updates on their military operations will be shared soon.
