Saudi aggression on Yemen intensified on Saturday as Saudi warplanes launched four airstrikes on Sanaa International Airport. According to Yemen’s Saba news agency, Saudi aircraft also carried out four raids on Amran and targeted Saada.
Cluster bombs on Hajjah villages
Yemen’s National Commission for Human Rights strongly condemned what it said was the use of cluster bombs by Saudi aircraft on the populated villages of Bani Hatab in the Abs district of Hajjah governorate, calling it “a full-fledged war crime.” According to Saba, the commission said the area contains no military targets. It held the Saudi regime fully responsible and named the United States and the countries that supplied the banned weapon as accomplices.
The Ain Al-Insaniya Center for Rights and Development also condemned Friday’s targeting of four buildings at Sanaa airport and a number of factories and civilian facilities, saying the attacks destroyed the livelihoods of hundreds of families.

According to Tasnim News Agency, Yemen’s armed forces have stepped up retaliation under the principle of “airport for airport.” Al-Masirah reported that flights were halted at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and at the Dammam and Abha airports. On Friday, hundreds of thousands of Yemenis rallied in Sanaa’s Al-Sabeen Square and other provinces in support of the armed forces.
