IRGC Strikes US Al-Azraq Airbase in Jordan with 12 Ballistic Missiles

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it fired 12 ballistic missiles at the US-operated al-Azraq airbase in Jordan in response to Washington’s missile attacks against Iran.

In a statement on Thursday, the IRGC said its Aerospace Force targeted and destroyed American F-35, F-15, and F-16 fighter jets along with important facilities and a command-and-control center at the base.

The IRGC warned that such operations will continue as long as US aggression and mischief persist.

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters also confirmed that the powerful response of the Iranian Armed Forces forced the US to halt its latest attacks on southern Iran, inflicting yet another defeat on American forces.

These strikes came after US President Donald Trump ordered a fresh round of aggression against Iran in violation of the April 8 ceasefire.
