Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has stressed the continuation of message exchange through the Pakistani mediator, announcing that Tehran’s attention is focused on ending the war and fulfilling Iran’s clear demands.
The continuation of mediation through the presence of Pakistan’s Interior Minister is aimed at facilitating the exchange of messages and providing additional clarifications on texts sent between the two sides.

Iran’s specific demands include ending the war on all fronts including Lebanon, releasing frozen assets, and stopping harassment of Iranian shipping and maritime piracy.
Despite the other side’s negative record over the past one and a half years, Iran is proceeding on the path of negotiations with seriousness and good faith, but holds strong and reasonable skepticism regarding America’s performance.
