Araghchi US Surprises: Iranian Foreign Minister warns America of many more surprises in case of renewed aggression

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that Iran has many more surprises in store for the United States should Washington seek potential resumption of unprovoked aggression against the Islamic Republic.

The top diplomat made the remarks in a post on X saying Iran would unleash those surprises upon aggressors relying on the lessons learned and knowledge gained throughout past confrontations with the US.

He cited a recent US Congress report acknowledging the heavy material losses suffered by the American air force during the 40-day aggression. According to the report the US Air Force lost at least 42 aircraft worth roughly 2.6 billion dollars including four F-15E Strike Eagles one F-35A Lightning II and 24 MQ-9 Reaper drones.

Araghchi noted that Iran’s powerful Armed Forces became the first to strike down a touted F-35. He said months after the start of the war on Iran the US Congress has now acknowledged the loss of dozens of aircraft worth billions of dollars.

The United States and the Israeli regime launched the aggression on February 28 triggering large-scale Iranian missile and drone retaliation. The aggression also prompted Iran to exercise strict control over the Strait of Hormuz which has caused a significant rise in global energy prices.
