An Iranian high-level trade delegation has arrived in Gwadar Port at the invitation of the Gwadar Chamber of Commerce. The visit is seen as an important milestone for enhancing economic and transit cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.
The delegation, which includes representatives from Chabahar Free Zone, investors and logistics experts, traveled through the Gabd-Rimdan border corridor.
During the visit, the delegation will tour Gwadar Free Zone, the port and ongoing development projects. The main focus of discussions is to establish a joint logistics network between Chabahar and Gwadar ports, promote investment and develop transit trade.
Experts believe that strong coordination between these two strategic ports can transform them into a major transit hub for South Asia and the Indian Ocean region. This step marks significant progress toward turning the common borders of Iran and Pakistan into important economic and transit centers.
