GENEVA: The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Israel has stated that attacks by armed Israeli colonist militias against Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank are part of a systematic policy aimed at forcibly displacing the Palestinian people from their lands.
The Commission emphasized that these state-backed attacks pave the way for illegal colonial expansion and unlawful annexation, carried out under the direct protection and arming of the Israeli occupation forces.

The report highlights that Israeli occupation forces systematically provide cover, weapons, and protection to colonist militias while they commit gross violations, including killings, torching of homes and agricultural lands, and destruction of civilian property.
The Commission called on all UN member states to fulfill their international legal obligations, cease all interaction with illegal Israeli colonization, and impose effective sanctions. It also urged the complete dismantlement of settlements and accountability for violations to uphold the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to self-determination.
