RAMALLAH: Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, has warned of the growing danger from escalating attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinians in cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank.
In a statement on Friday, Abu Rudeineh said these systematic Zionist attacks threaten to undermine efforts for regional stability. He held the Israeli terrorist regime fully responsible for the serious consequences of these terrorist acts, which are carried out under the protection and support of the occupation army as part of a broader policy to entrench illegal occupation and impose faits accomplis on Palestinian land.
Abu Rudeineh stressed that the region will continue to face wars and instability unless a comprehensive and just solution is achieved based on international law, establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He called on the international community, especially the United States, to immediately intervene and force the Israeli regime to stop its aggressive policies, halt all settlement activities, and end colonist violence. The Palestinian people remain steadfast in their legitimate struggle for freedom, independence, and their national rights.
