Muslim Nations Unitedly Condemn Illegal Israeli Settlements in Palestine

Foreign Ministers from Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates have issued a joint declaration completely rejecting the construction of illegal Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territories. The statement specifically and strongly condemned the ‘E1’ settlement project near East Jerusalem, as well as the violent atrocities committed by Zionist occupiers against the Palestinian people.

The Foreign Ministers of these Muslim countries warned that the ‘E1’ project is an extremely dangerous Israeli scheme. They highlighted that its primary objective is to disrupt the geographical continuity of Palestinian territories and create major obstacles to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the 1967 borders.

The joint declaration made it clear that these acts of illegal occupation and forced evictions are a blatant violation of international laws and peace efforts, including Donald Trump’s comprehensive peace plan. The Foreign Ministers emphasized that the two-state solution remains the only viable and practical path to lasting and just peace in the region, warning that these Zionist actions pose severe threats to regional and global security.

Concluding their joint statement, the Muslim nations called upon the United Nations Security Council and the international community to take immediate action to halt Israel’s illegal expansionist plans. They strongly urged the imposition of strict international sanctions against the elements supporting and funding these oppressive measures, while reaffirming their strong commitment to protecting the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.
