The IRGC said its Aerospace Force and Navy conducted a two-wave retaliatory operation, striking and destroying 18 key targets belonging to the US military at Ali al-Salem and Ahmad al-Jaber airbases in Kuwait, and Sheikh Isa airbase in Bahrain.

Separately, the Iranian Army carried out a drone operation targeting the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, hitting communication antennas and radar systems linked to the Patriot air defense system.

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that the powerful response of the Armed Forces forced the halt in the latest US attacks. The headquarters has also ordered the closure of the strategic Strait of Hormuz to all vessels due to regional insecurity caused by US aggression.

The IRGC and Army reaffirmed that operations will continue until the aggressor is fully punished.
