Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has stated that Iran prefers to use diplomacy to end the US-Israeli aggression against the country, while warning that other options remain available.
In a post on X on Tuesday, Qalibaf said, “We prefer the language of diplomacy, but we speak other languages far more fluently. Break your commitments, and we’ll switch to what we speak best.”
The statement came after Iran carried out strong missile attacks on targets in the Israeli-occupied territories in response to the Israeli regime’s violation of the ceasefire by attacking Lebanon. Qalibaf made it clear that any new escalation would be the sole responsibility of the US and the Israeli regime for breaching the April ceasefire.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has been actively involved in diplomatic efforts to achieve a permanent end to the US-Israeli war of aggression.
