Iran Enriched Uranium Transfer: Journalist Highlights Tehran’s Painful Experience and Firm Stance

Iran Enriched Uranium Transfer

Iranian journalist Mehrdad Khalili has commented on the Reuters report regarding Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei’s refusal to transfer enriched uranium out of Iran.

He stated that regardless of the accuracy of the report, Tehran’s experience in this matter has been very painful for the political leadership. Iran handed over 11 tons of enriched uranium in 2015 under the nuclear agreement and received nothing in return.

Khalili questioned how Iran can be expected to easily agree to transfer enriched uranium in front of an American president like Trump.
