Announcement No. 3 of the Committee for the Commemoration of the Ascension of the Mujahid Martyr Imam, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may God sanctify his pure soul)

Following previous announcements, the Committee informs the noble and mourning public that the farewell, funeral, and burial ceremonies for the pure bodies of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the honored martyrs of his family — Dr. Misbah al-Huda Baqeri Kani, Sayyida Bushra Hosseini Khamenei, Zahra Haddad Adel, and Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani (may God be pleased with them) — will be held as follows:
- Saturday, July 4, 2026 & Sunday, July 5, 2026 (19th & 20th Muharram): Farewell ceremony at Imam Khomeini (ra) Mosalla in Tehran.
- Monday, July 6, 2026 (21st Muharram): Funeral procession in Tehran.
- Tuesday, July 7, 2026 (22nd Muharram): Funeral procession in the holy city of Qom.
- Thursday, July 9, 2026 (24th Muharram): Funeral procession in Mashhad and burial at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (peace be upon him).
