Iraq’s newly elected Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi has said that his government will promote Arab, regional and international relations on the basis of mutual respect.

In his first speech after assuming office, al-Zaidi stressed the need to strengthen Iraq’s ties with Arab, regional and international countries. He described this vision as part of the new government’s plan to restore Iraq’s balanced and influential position in regional and international equations.
