RAMALLAH: Israeli settlers launched an attack on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, on Thursday evening, raiding a residential area and seizing a vehicle, according to local sources.
Two groups of settlers stormed the town under the protection of Israeli forces. The settlers arrived in a vehicle they had reportedly seized, as well as an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), and reached the town’s first roundabout in the Al-Marah neighborhood.

The settlers raided the vicinity of the Abu Kayed family home and closed an iron gate installed by Israeli forces at the town’s entrance, preventing residents from accessing the area. They also blocked the main eastern road connecting Deir Dibwan with the nearby village of Rammoun.
As a result, all entrances and exits to the town were effectively closed, restricting residents’ movement. No injuries were immediately reported in the attack.
