The Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement, Sheikh Naim Qassem, has welcomed the recently concluded memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States.
In a televised address on Wednesday evening, Sheikh Qassem congratulated the Iranian people, the Resistance, and the countries and peoples of the region on this “great victory.”

He described the agreement as a major breakthrough that helps achieve a comprehensive ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. Sheikh Qassem praised Iran’s steadfastness and sacrifices, saying Tehran stood firmly with Lebanon and the Resistance.
The Hezbollah leader urged the Lebanese government to seize this pivotal moment and expel Israeli occupation forces from southern Lebanon. He stressed that the Resistance is defending Lebanon’s existence itself and will not accept any deal that aims to disarm or weaken it.
Sheikh Qassem reaffirmed that Hezbollah will remain the vigilant guardian of Lebanon and its people against any future Israeli aggression.
