Massive Shaheed-e-Ummat conference at Minar-e-Pakistan honoring martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei

LAHORE: A grand, dignified and historic “Shaheed-e-Ummat” conference was held at Minar-e-Pakistan to pay tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and to highlight the message of Pakistan’s integrity, national unity, sovereignty, and the awakening and unity of the Muslim Ummah.

The event, organized by Pakistan’s Shia organizations and religious circles, saw the massive participation of lakhs of men, women, and children from across the country. Large convoys arrived from all four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir, turning the venue and surrounding areas into a sea of mourners and supporters.

Prominent speakers included Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi (head of Tehreek Bedari Ummat-e-Mustafa), Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri (head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen), Khawaja Saad Rafique, Allama Amin Shahidi, Allama Iqbal Beheshti, Syed Hashim Musavi, and many other religious and political personalities from both Shia and Sunni schools of thought.

Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi emphasized that the conference is an expression of collective awareness, national unity, and intellectual awakening. He said the martyred Leader’s school is not just a thought but a practical path whose basic principle is “presence in the field.” He praised Pakistan’s leadership for playing a positive and dignified role through diplomacy and mediation during the recent regional tensions.

Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri said the martyrdom of the Leader has not ended an individual but has expanded and strengthened a thought. He called for the Muslim Ummah to rise above artificial divisions and form a united front for justice and freedom.

Khawaja Saad Rafique highlighted that the real divide is not between Shia-Sunni or Arab-Ajam but between truth and falsehood. He noted that the Leader’s martyrdom has weakened sectarian prejudices and brought different schools of thought together.

The conference sent strong messages of national unity, inter-sect harmony, and collective defense of Muslim causes. A joint declaration is expected at the conclusion of the event.

This gathering is being described as one of the largest religious and political public assemblies in Pakistan in recent years, reflecting deep solidarity with the path of resistance and the legacy of the Shaheed-e-Ummat.
