A senior Iranian official has warned that any US attack on Iranian territory — not just on Kharg Island but anywhere in the country — would receive a response that “will be recorded in history.”
Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, dismissed US President Donald Trump’s threats as the bluster of a “delusional and confused” leader who has failed to achieve any objectives in the wars against Iran.

Azizi stressed that Iran’s Armed Forces are highly prepared across all territory, including Kharg Island. He noted that the US has suffered humiliating defeats, with more than 9,000 forces fleeing the Persian Gulf and multiple bases destroyed.
Senior IRGC advisor Ali Fadavi stated that Iran is on the verge of a great victory that will change the regional and global equations, highlighting the resistance of the Iranian nation against the Great Satan.
