A senior Iranian parliament lawmaker has censured the United States for exercising double standards when it comes to incidents during the US-Israeli war of aggression on Iran.
Ebrahim Rezaei, a member and spokesman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said on Wednesday that the US government’s quick blaming of Iran after a US army helicopter crashed in the Persian Gulf was a clear example of double standards.

Rezaei noted that 102 days have passed since the US-Israeli massacre at the Shajare Tayyeba school in Minab on February 28, which killed more than 165 people, mostly schoolgirls and their teachers, yet the US has still not admitted its responsibility. In contrast, the Pentagon and White House immediately blamed Iran for the helicopter crash in just two days.
Iranian authorities have stated that the downing of the US helicopter was not the result of Iranian fire, while warning that the illegal presence of foreign forces near Iran’s borders carries such risks.
