The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says 31 commercial vessels, including oil tankers and container ships, have safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours under the coordination and protection of its Navy despite unprecedented insecurity caused by the terrorist US military in the Persian Gulf region.

In a statement, the IRGC Navy announced that all passages took place with full coordination and security protection provided by its forces. The Navy has established a clear and secure route for the continuation of global trade.
The Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) has defined a supervisory management zone for the waterway, stretching from Mount Mubarak in Iran and southern Fujairah in the UAE on the eastern side to the end of Qeshm Island in Iran and Umm Al Quwain in the UAE on the western side. Movement within this area requires coordination with the PGSA and obtaining a permit.
Iran shut the Strait to enemies and their allies following US-Israeli aggression and has imposed stricter controls after the illegal US naval blockade. The new mechanism ensures safe passage for commercial vessels while protecting Iran’s national security and sovereignty.
