Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has issued a message marking the second anniversary of the martyrdom of former President Ebrahim Raeisi, praising his sense of responsibility, attention to justice, active diplomacy, and particularly his closeness to the people.
The message paid tribute to the martyrs of the April flight, at their head President Raeisi, saying they are a reminder of the martyrdom of a multitude of servant-martyrs in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Leader mentioned prominent figures from Motahhari, Beheshti, Raja’i, and Bahonar to Raeisi, Ale-Hashem, Amir-Abdollahian, and Larijani, who adorned the record of sincere service with their blood.
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted President Raeisi’s outstanding qualities including youth-orientation, attention to justice, active diplomacy, and deep spirituality. He said these qualities encouraged Iran’s friends and the resistance front.

The Leader noted that Raeisi’s farewell procession took place with unparalleled grandeur in Tabriz, Tehran, and Mashhad. He stressed that the unfinished presidential term showed effort and compassion for the nation while maintaining independence.
Referring to the epic resistance of the Iranian nation against the two global terrorist armies, Ayatollah Khamenei said this has made the duty of all officials heavier than ever. He called for redoubling efforts to resolve the people’s economic concerns and involving the Iranian nation in the country’s progress.
