At least nine Lebanese civilians have been killed and dozens more wounded after Israeli airstrikes hit the historic port city of Tyre in southern Lebanon.
The strikes on Tuesday targeted a residential area of the coastal city. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that 28 people were injured in the latest Zionist aggression.

Civil defence teams are continuing search and rescue operations amid rubble. On Monday, another Israeli strike near a Red Cross centre in Tyre killed five people, including paramedics, and damaged a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hezbollah carried out multiple operations against Israeli forces on Tuesday in response to the ongoing aggression. Lebanese authorities report that since March 2, Israeli attacks have killed 3,666 people and wounded 11,321 others, while displacing over one million Lebanese.
