According to Bloomberg, citing an informed source, fragments of Iranian ballistic missiles struck the US Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, injuring approximately five American soldiers. At least one MQ-9 Reaper drone was destroyed while another was severely damaged, with an estimated value of 30 million dollars.

This retaliatory strike by Iran took place while negotiations were underway between Iran and the United States for a possible 60-day extension of the ceasefire. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) described the attack as a serious violation of the ceasefire, while Iran called it a legitimate retaliatory action against US aggression.
