Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Iran does not seek war, but is fully prepared to continue defending itself if necessary, underlining the enhanced strength and status of the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces.
“We have never sought war. We want peace, but an honorable peace,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during an interview with Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen network on Wednesday.
He added, “We are prepared to continue the war, either in terms of military capability, national cohesion, or the determination to confront aggression.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stressed that Iran’s military position is now even stronger than before the war, as military production continued despite the aggression.

The top Iranian diplomat noted that the recent US-Israeli war of aggression changed American perceptions of Iran’s real power. Washington failed to achieve its objectives, including unconditional surrender, after Iran responded with over 100 waves of decisive retaliatory strikes.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made it clear that there is currently no formal negotiation process with the United States, but Iran will only engage on the basis of its national interests. He also emphasized that any agreement must include a ceasefire in Lebanon, stating that the wars in Iran and Lebanon are inseparable.
He rejected claims that US President Trump stopped Israeli attacks on Beirut, saying it was the power of the Resistance in Iran and Lebanon that forced the Israeli terrorist regime to back down. Araghchi reaffirmed that Hezbollah is an inseparable part of Lebanon’s society, defense, and politics.
