Houthi Forces Sever Taiz-Mocha Route and Advance

Houthi forces have reportedly secured a major tactical breakthrough against Saudi-backed forces in Yemen by capturing the strategic Sharajah junction and effectively severing the vital transport link connecting Taiz city to Mocha.

According to field reports, the advance marks one of the most notable territorial shifts in recent clashes. In addition to securing the junction, Houthi fighters reportedly gained full control of the Al-Kadha town overnight and are actively pushing toward the Jabal Habashi district.

Military analysts note that cutting off Taiz from Mocha places mounting pressure on Saudi-backed forces in the region, raising strategic concerns over the future control of Taiz city. With ongoing field advances, the frontlines are reportedly moving closer to the strategic Bab el-Mandeb strait, located roughly 50 kilometers away.
