Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf described the Islamabad MoU as America’s declaration of defeat, saying it proved that negotiations succeed only when the other side gives up imposing its will on a dignified nation and recognizes its rights.
The memorandum aims to end the war on all fronts, lift the US blockade, and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, with further talks for a final agreement expected in the coming days.
