Palestinian Ministry Condemns Israeli Knesset Bill on Theft of Palestinian Tax Revenues

RAMALLAH: The Palestinian Foreign Affairs Ministry has strongly condemned the Israeli Knesset’s approval of a bill expanding deductions from Palestinian clearance tax revenues.

The Ministry described the legislation as a colonial measure that forms part of a systematic policy of organized piracy and the continued plundering of Palestinian funds.

The Ministry stressed that this law is a flagrant violation of signed agreements and international law. It warned that the continued withholding and unlawful deductions from Palestinian revenues severely undermine economic and humanitarian conditions in the occupied Palestinian territory and threaten regional stability.
