Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem revealed on Monday that Iran had informed the movement it was seeking to bring the ongoing war to an end across all fronts in the region, including Gaza.
Qassem affirmed that Iran has extended consistent political, military, and financial support to the Palestinian struggle and continues to express its strong backing and solidarity with the Palestinian people.

He stressed that Hamas is working to keep Gaza central in all regional negotiations and that the enclave will not be sidelined from any broader ceasefire efforts. Qassem added that the movement is engaging positively with reasonable proposals in the ongoing talks in Cairo, hoping for a solution as soon as possible.
