Heavy overnight clashes erupted on the Red Sea coast, primarily in the Al-Barah and Maqbanah districts. According to the Al Nasr Brigade, Yemeni government forces lost ground to the Ansar Allah Houthi movement west of Taiz. Experts warn that if the Houthis sever the critical government supply road connecting al-Makha (Mocha) and Taiz, it could trigger a major Houthi military campaign to capture al-Makha.

The conflict is rapidly escalating across multiple fronts. In a separate development in al-Jawf, Yemeni government forces from the 6th military division launched a surprise attack against the Houthis. The armed forces successfully targeted Houthi gatherings and weapons depots using drones, rocket launchers, and various other weapons.
