The memorandum of understanding and negotiations between Iran and the United States will consist of two phases.

According to the framework:

  • Within 30 days of signing the memorandum of understanding, the US naval blockade will be lifted and the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened under Iranian administration.
  • Immediately after signing, a ceasefire will be announced across the region, including Lebanon. Half of Iran’s frozen assets (held in Qatar) will be released, and the US will grant exemptions for Iranian oil and petrochemicals.

After these 30 days, if all conditions are fulfilled, full negotiations will begin for a period of 60 days to reach a final agreement. This second phase will cover nuclear issues, further sanctions relief, and the withdrawal of US forces from the region.

This structured approach aims to consolidate Iran’s victories on the battlefield through diplomacy while safeguarding the Islamic Republic’s national interests and sovereignty.
