UN Secretary-General António Guterres has strongly demanded that the Israeli terrorist regime immediately withdraw from occupied areas of southern Lebanon and fully respect Lebanese sovereignty.
In a recent statement, Guterres called for compliance with international law and relevant UN resolutions to ensure regional stability. This demand comes as the Zionist regime, with full US support, continues its daily ceasefire violations, killing civilians and destroying infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem have already rejected the US-brokered ceasefire deal, describing it as unfair, one-sided, and aimed at weakening the Lebanese resistance.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has also made it clear that the war imposed on Lebanon is directly linked to the aggression against Iran. Any final agreement between Iran and the United States must include a complete ceasefire in Lebanon as well. Iran firmly maintains that peace must be achieved on all fronts simultaneously.
The Lebanese Islamic Resistance (Hezbollah) continues its legitimate defense against the ongoing Israeli occupation and aggression.
