A chorus of international praise has greeted the memorandum of understanding (MoU) finalized between Iran and the United States, which brings an immediate and permanent end to the US-Israeli war of aggression on Iran, lifts the naval blockade, and reopens the Strait of Hormuz.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres welcomed the agreement as a “critical step” toward resolving the conflict and urged all parties to build on this momentum for a final resolution.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian praised the agreement and commended Pakistan’s mediation role, expressing hope for its timely signing.

The EU, represented by Kaja Kallas and Ursula von der Leyen, described it as a potential breakthrough and pledged active support for the next phase of negotiations.
The MoU is scheduled to be officially signed in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 19. It is widely seen as a diplomatic victory for the Islamic Republic following its strong resistance against US-Israeli aggression.
